Ingredients
- 1 cup Water
- ½ cup Unsalted butter
- ¼ cup Granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 4 units Large eggs
- 4 cups (for frying) Vegetable oil
- ½ cup (for coating) Ground cinnamon
- ½ cup (for coating) Granulated sugar
- 200 grams Mexican chocolate tablets
- 2 cups Whole milk
- 1 unit Cinnamon stick
Directions
- Heat water, butter, sugar, and salt until boiling.
- Add the flour all at once and stir until a dough forms.
- Cook for 1 more minute, remove from heat.
- Incorporate the eggs one by one until integrated.
- Place the dough in a piping bag with a star tip.
- Heat oil to 180°C and fry strips of dough until golden.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar to coat the hot churros.
- Heat milk with cinnamon, dissolve the chocolate until a thick drink is obtained.
