Ingredients
- 2 pieces Chicken breast
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1½ cups Panko (Japanese breadcrumbs)
- 2 pieces Eggs
- ¼ cup Whole milk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 3 cups Neutral vegetable oil (for frying)
- 2 pieces Hamburger buns
- ¼ cup Mayonnaise
- ¼ cup Pickles
Directions
- Prepare the chicken breasts: Cut the breasts in half horizontally to get uniform fillets. Season with salt and pepper.
- Prepare the breading: Beat 2 eggs with 1/4 cup milk. In separate dishes, place 1 cup flour seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder; and 1.5 cups panko.
- Bread: Dredge each chicken fillet in the flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally in the panko, pressing to ensure adherence.
- Heat oil for frying to 175°C (350°F) in a deep pot.
- Fry the chicken: Fry the breaded breasts for 5-7 minutes per side until well-cooked and crispy. Drain on a rack.
- Assemble the burgers: Toast the buns. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, place the fried chicken, add pickles, and top.
