Ingredients
- 1 cup Unsalted butter
- 2 cups Granulated sugar
- 4 units Large eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- ¾ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line a 23x33 cm (9x13 inch) pan with parchment paper, leaving it hanging over the edges.
- Melt the butter in a bowl. Stir in the sugar and beat until you have a smooth, slightly glossy mixture.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Sift to ensure a fine texture.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, beating just until combined. Do not overmix.
- Add the chocolate chips and mix with a spatula. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely in the pan before cutting for the ideal texture.
