Ingredients
- 500 g Boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 count Eggs
- 1½ cups Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (Kansas City style)
- 4 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)
Directions
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized cubes.
- Prepare three breading stations: flour, beaten egg, and panko seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Coat the chicken cubes by passing them through the flour, then the egg, and finally the panko, ensuring even coverage.
- Heat plenty of vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes per side.
- Drain the fried chicken on paper towels.
- In a bowl, toss the fried chicken with the BBQ sauce until completely coated. Serve hot.
