Ingredients
- 250 grams Paneer
- 125 grams Thick plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- ½ teaspoon Ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon Ground coriander
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon Red chili powder (Kashmiri)
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ piece Red onion
- ½ piece Bell pepper (red or green)
- ½ piece Tomato
- 1 tablespoon Neutral vegetable oil
Directions
- Cut the paneer, red onion, bell pepper, and tomato into uniform cubes of approximately 1 inch.
- Prepare the marinade by mixing thick yogurt, lemon juice, ginger and garlic pastes, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Ensure a homogeneous emulsion.
- Marinate the paneer cubes and cut vegetables in the mixture for a minimum of 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Thread the marinated ingredients alternately onto pre-soaked wooden skewers.
- Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat with a little oil. Grill the skewers, turning frequently, for 4-5 minutes per side until desired browning and charring is achieved on the paneer and vegetables.
- Serve hot with fresh lemon and mint chutney.
